This is the cleanest and nicest laundromat that we have ever used during our travels. The staff is very friendly and the place is kept immaculate! Bonus, you are right in the middle of downtown. Nothing but a positive experience here! I have been going to the laundromat in New Glasgow for the past year, and haven’t had positive experience there. So I decided to try Pictor Laundry Ltd, they are friendly, helpful and keep the place clean. The washer, dryer and folding table are washed after every use. They have: washroom, coffee, tea and hot chocolate for sale along with wifi, change machine, laundry dispenser with laundry soap, fabric softener and fabric sheet.

As RVers, we stayed overnight in the area and heard about this laundromat. It was time to do laundry so we came in to check it out. We were immediately welcomed by Dennis, the owner. Being from the states, we needed assistance with currency exchange which he was happy to do. Besides being extremely clean, and brightly colored, the laundromat is a very welcoming establishment. A great environment to spend some down time when you have to get the wash done. Thanks, Dennis, for helping out some tourists!

I had a very odd experience here last summer. I drove here from a small town because I needed a front loading machine to wash a small duvet. I came here specifically because of other reviews and what I saw on the website and was sorely disappointed. The laundromat was indeed beautiful-very clean with new front loading machines. They were unfortunately tiny and expensive, and I could barely stuff my duvet in. There was no attendant or coffee, no way to get change, the bathrooms were locked, and when I spilled detergent on my hands, I discovered the water to the only sink in the place had been turned off. I had no choice but to go back to my car to try to find something to wipe them clean as best I could and cross my legs as I waited on my laundry since there was no bathroom. A large TV was blaring, and since I was alone in the place, I turned it off so I could wait in peace but then some voice started yelling at me through a speaker to turn it back on. Apparently I was being monitored by video despite absolutely no access to even a sink. Someone else came in and needed change to do laundry. The voice said to call a number. The woman didn’t have a phone so I tried to help her by calling on mine only to be verbally assaulted by whoever answered. I hung up on him. My duvet came out clean, but whoever is watching this place via video is a miserable person. Thankfully I can never see a reason to set foot in here again.

Went in there not expecting much — getting my clothes cleaned would've been more than enough — but I was instead fortunate enough to meet a fascinating person in Dennis, the owner. We had a good chat, coffee, the place was tidy and the machines worked well, what more do you want ?
